Flag City Freedom Celebration 

Wave "Ole' Glory" proudly at Flag City Freedom Celebration happening at Millington's USA Stadium (4351 Babe Howard Blvd.) compete with fireworks, concessions and kids' activities. Gates open at 4 p.m. The event is free, but parking is $5.

Horn Lake Independence Day 

Take in some BOOM at Latimer Lake Park (5633 Tulane Road). Gates open at 4 p.m. with live music from The Michael New Band at 7 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 p.m. and BTW, IT'S FREE!!

Bartlett Fireworks Extravaganza 

Bartlett is pulling out ALL the stops with live music and ceremonies honoring veterans happening at The Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center (U.S. 79 and Appling Road) starting at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. and yup! IT'S FREE!

Collierville Independence Day 

Collierville's got the live music starting at 6 p.m. and they'll start "lighting the candles" around 9:30. Catch the action at H. W. Cox Park (440 West Powell Road)

Stars and Stripes 5K 

If you wanna be active then head over to the Memphis Botanic Gardens (750 Cherry Road) for the  annual Stars and Stripes 5K, which benefits the American Red Cross. Race set to begin at 7 p.m. (there will also be a kids race). After your run celebrate with live music, food and post-race festivities. Entrance fee is $25 in advance, $30 day of.

Cooper-Young Parade

The Cooper-Young Parade starts at the Peabody Elementary school and goes all through the Cooper-Young area! Get in on the action at 10 a.m. with children and pets invited to join.

Cordova's parade and celebrations start at 9:30 am!

Memphis Redbirds 4th of July Cookout 

It's an all-American day at AutoZone Park with America's pastime plus hot dogs, hamburgers and blowin stuff up! I mean fireworks. A specialty ticket options for the game includes a cookout and a ticket for one price.

Watch the fireworks from the rooftop! There is no cover charge!! Drinks and food are available for $$ but take in the show from 5 to 10 p.m.

Southaven Fourth of July Celebration 

The BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove (6285 Snowden Lane) is throwing a July 4 jam, with music and fireworks. bring the cooler and celebrate freedom!

Olive Branch Independence Day

The OB is setting off the 'works with live music and adding food, activities for the kids, and a fireworks night cap at 9:15 p.m. Event is free and starts at 6 but you will want to arrive early as the space is limited!

Hernando Independence Day Fireworks 

Hernando Civic Center ball fields (3800 Robertson Gin Road) have the concessions, fireworks and music going starting at 6 p.m.

Mud Island River Park 

Go down to the river! More specifically the Mud Island River Park (125 Front St.). Bring the blankets, picnic baskets and lawn chairs for a day of family fun! You've got rides for the kids, food and drink concessions, and what promises to be the biggest/best fireworks display in Memphis. The park opens at 10 a.m. Activities begin at 6 p.m. Fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
