Brodee's Afternoon HEADLINES:

FaceApp is getting FEDERAL attention plus 3 Game of Thrones stars submitted their OWN names for Emmy consideration when HBO wouldn't and IT Chapter 2 gets an official trailer (joy).

ICYMI, If you agreed to FaceApp's terms of service, CONGRATS they own YOU! No seriously, your face, username (which you probably use for EVERYTHING), and likeness and you won't see a dime for it. If that doesn't sit well with you then you're not alone. That has caught the eye of Sen Chuck Schumer (D-NY) who has asked the FBI and the FTC to look into the app’s data handling practices. Scary stuff. BTW it was reported that a company in Russia put this out but that has been debunked and thankfully it's a state-side company. Good because it can be handled under OUR laws.

THANKFULLY Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, and Carice van Houten took the bull by the hornes and submitted THEMSELVES for consideration and landed Emmy nominations. NORMALLY the network submits actors names for this as it's a $225 entry fee and a whole mess to do BUT each of these outstanding actors have landed a nomination for their part in Game of Thrones and... well duh!

Warning... this gets intense QUICK! The official full trailer for IT Chapter 2 is out and it's obviously terrifying.
