Brodee’s Afternoon HEADLINES:

FIRST MONDAY and yes the Golden Globes are the talk today but also you won’t find Lizzo on Twitter plus how the Irwin Family is helping in the devastating Australia Wild Fires and a new trailer that has familiar superhero’s going horror. Here’s what’s up.

Comedian Ricky Gervais kicked off the Golden Globes in typical Gervais fashion with a bashing and lashing of the Hollywood elite but the big winners stood strong as Succession, Chernobyl,Fleabag,Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and 1917 were the top honor winners last night.

You can call it a break or even a break up but you won't be able to AT her as Lizzo is taking a break from Twitter. she says "Yeah I can't do this Twitter [expletive] no more.. too many trolls..." (AMEN) and said "I'll be back when I feel like it."

As you might know, Australia continues to battle the raging wild fires ravaging the land and animals and a lot of people are coming to the rescue and relief effort either monetarily or, in the case of the Irwin family, personally. Steve Irwin's family, headed by his daughter Bindi, have rescued and treated over 90,000 animals, many of which were injured in Australia's recent devastating wildfires. PROPS!

and in terrifying superhero movies, because that's a thing now... We got a new trailer for X-Men: The New Mutants...
