For many people who celebrate Christmas, decorating a tree that will sit proudly on display for the season is one of the activities they look forward to the most. While some celebrators may choose an artificial tree that they can pack away once the presents are unwrapped, others enjoy the extra holiday spirit that a live tree can bring.
Parade recently searched around the country to find the best Christmas tree farm in each state where festive frolickers can choose the perfect tree for their celebrations.
According to the site, Wildwood Christmas Tree Farm in Woodbury is the best Christmas tree farm in Tennessee. The small, family-owned farm has been operating in Middle Tennessee for 15 years, growing a wide selection of tree varieties, including different firs and spruces sure to please anyone looking for a live tree for the holidays. There are also plenty of activities alongside the tree farm, such as a hayride, gift shop, and a chance to paint your own ornament.
The tree farm opens for the season on November 19 and runs through December 11, giving those celebrating a chance to pick out their perfect tree in time to decorate and adorn it for the holiday. The farm is open from 12-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 1:30-7 p.m. on Sunday. There is also a special hours of operation on Thanksgiving weekend, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wildwood Christmas Tree Farm is located at 286 La Paloma Road in Woodbury.
